WantZone Usability Testing was a Success!
On December 13, 2009 a group of users performed usability testing on the WantZone website during our Beta period. Everyone was asked to use all the major services that was provided by WantZone. The testing included the following actions:
- Create a posting for Want Services, Want Purchases and post a Job
- Create a profile and view commonly used features in My Account
- Upgrade to a Provider and contact Want postings to earn money
- Use the Blogs and Forums
- Provide any feedback for new features or bugs during the testing
The testing was a success and the usability team provided valuable feedback. In all the team recommended 15 new feature recommendations and discovered 20 bugs. We are expecting to incorporate most of the feedbacks and fix all the bugs.
WantZone is fully functional and anyone can register to use our services. We encourage you to send us any feedback that you may have to make your experiences easier.
WantZone is prepared to go live for Beta on December 10, 2009. We are excited about our services and how we are designed to help local communities. Our services will start in the San Francisco Bay Area and grow based on consumer demands. We hope to remove the Beta label by Q1 2010.
We will have a usability session with a group of users the day before Beta to ensure that the website is designed to meet your needs. Any feedback from this user trial session will be considered to improve WantZone. We also welcome any feedback from the general public. Feedbacks can be sent to us here: www.wantzone.com/contactus. We will reward top weekly feedbacks with Starbucks gift cards during our Beta period.
WantZone is in Beta but is fully functional and you can start using our services once we go live. We believe that WantZone can be a place to help our communities grow by providing an avenue for you to save and earn money.
